Indoor Hitting League

Weekly pitching-machine competition at the Riptide Facility. Bring a five-player team or register as an individual. Ages are determined on July 1, 2027.

JV League

JV — Ages 10–12

USA or BBCOR bats only. Players who turn 13 by July 1, 2027 register for Varsity.

Season: Regular season: Dec 5/6, 12/13, and 19/20. January 9/10, 16/17, and 23/24. End-of-the-Year Tournament weekend: Jan 30/31.
Eligibility: Ages 10–12
Format: Two 7-inning games each weekend either Saturday or Sunday afternoon

Varsity League

Varsity — Ages 13–15

BBCOR bats. Players who are 16 before July 1, 2027 are aged out.

THE LEAGUE DETAILS

How the league works

Six regular-season weekends plus a tournament weekend. Final game times will be set once the league is finalized.

How are games played?

Five players per team; at least three are needed per game to play.
Two 7-inning games each weekend; if there is an odd number of teams, some teams may need to play three games per weekend.
Two games take about 75–90 minutes total, with a 15-minute warm-up period.
Each player gets three pitches or two swings off the pitching machine per at-bat.
Marked cage zones score singles, doubles, triples, and home runs. Home runs are hit straight up the middle.
A Riptide instructor keeps score, stats, standings, and league leaders.
No team coaches: players make their own lineups, and parents may watch.
Riptide instructors help players hit off the pitching machine when they can.

What are the league dates and game times?

Weekend games are played on either Saturday or Sunday (varies by weekend).
Regular season: Dec 5/6, 12/13, and 19/20. January 9/10, 16/17, and 23/24.
End-of-the-Year Tournament weekend: January 30/31.
Game windows: Saturdays 2–6:30 p.m. or Sundays 4–8 p.m.
Exact game times will be set after the league is finalized and before the first games.
Share your preferred day and any game-time requests during registration.
Games are played at the Riptide Facility.

How do I register a team?

$650 total for the entire team for the full league, collected in one team payment at checkout.
For five players, the base cost works out to $130 each for the season—about $18–19 per player per weekend.
Choose JV or Varsity and enter your team name.
Five players are required on the roster.
For each player, provide their name, age on July 1, 2027, and a parent’s name, email, and phone number.
A second parent contact is optional for each player.
Choose Saturday preferred, Sunday preferred, or either day works.
List any game-time requests.

Can I register as an individual?

$150 per player for the full league.
Choose JV or Varsity.
Provide the player’s name and age on July 1, 2027.
Provide a parent’s name, email, and phone number.
Share your preferred day and any game-time requests.
Individual spots are not guaranteed: 3–5 players are needed to form an assigned team.
